I was fortunate enough to tune In the first time Mr. Martinez was on. His story is very captivating and it's wonderful to hear of the well deserved accolades. Best wishes for more future success.

I am so happy to finally hear a representative of our community that up until today has been absent from the DR Show.

I love your show Diane! I listen EVERYday and I've been listening for years and years. And I'm Latino.

Please include more shows that represent Latinos - 17% of our country that is not only growing, but growing more influential.

I love your show Diane!

Wow, what a great program! I'm including the earlier hour about Lincoln too in that! Such moving, excellent examples of real human beings and how they managed to get through life :)

I was on my way to meet with the local curandera (Mexican Healer), when I tuned into the interview with Mr. Martinez; I too no longer live in Texas, but as I listened to Mr. Martinez interview, I felt a sence of freedom... his story is the story of so many, but as a Mexican woman, I know it all to well.

Diane & Domingo,

Thanks for the re-broadcast. I'm so excited to hear your story Domingo. I can't wait to read your book and share with my students at the VA Hospital in Dallas where I volunteer teaching creative writing in their Vet Recovery Center. Thanks also for your Texas grit! You're encouraging to a fellow writer with little-to-none publishing credits. I'm sure you have many readers at UT-Pan Am in McAllen, Texas, the "valley" of our southern border. UTPA is producing a plethora of Texas Hispanic writers who will surely one day end up on the Diane Rehm show. Happy New Year to you both. Good health and good reading in 2013.
