This week foreign policy experts Hillary and Flynt Mann Leverett wrote a piece at their blog Race for Iran focused on the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal perpetuating "deep seated" myths about Iran rather than "reporting on real facts" in the run up to the talks.
Can your guest please focus on the facts that came out of the P5+1 talks.

In the run-up to this weekend’s P5+1 “negotiations” with the Islamic Republic, two of America’s leading newspapers published stories reflecting deep-seated myths about the Islamic Republic rather than reporting on real facts.

Have been begging Diane and the Rehm team to have foreign policy experts Hillary and Flynt Leverett on your program to discuss Iran. Diane has had Flynt on in the past. Are there roadblocks up at NPR against the Leveretts? What do you folks have against experts on Iran and facts about Iran?

Whoa have not heard the P5+1 talks even brought up in the last one half hour on the Diane Rehm international hour. Are you folks going to totally avoid the topic? Hmmm

An EU spokesman says the negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 were “positive” and “totally different.”
One critical issue that you will not be hearing about on the Diane Rehm show or other NPR programs is the ever expanding Israeli illegal settlements and illegal housing in E Jerusalem. You can bank on that. That has not always been the case for the Diane Rehm show
Israeli Illegal actions the norm. Will anyone respond?

Call your Reps. Stop US aid to Israel.
One of the guest just said with a smirk If you read Russian, Iranian news then you hear their perspective. As if US MSM news is not terribly slanted
Abderrahim Foukara you smirked as you referenced Russian and Iranian news sources. Foreign policy experts Flynt and Hillary Mann Leverett wrote a post this week titled IRAN MYTHS PERPETUATED BY THE WALL STREET JOURNAL AND THE NEW YORK TIMES

Would you apply that smirk to US news sources also?
I
Oh good grief!
One caller asked why the difference between "handling" Iraq and Syria. Well, allow me to offer one possible answer: Obama is not Bush!
Different Administrations, different countries, different issues, different times.
Ha ha aha.. I have been a consumer of the so called news for 30 years. These half wits think they are better journalist than RT. The MSM are nothing more then the Establishment's spin and propaganda outlets. RT has in depth facts they report on and give their viewers a well balanced view on all sides in their stories!
One fact you omitted is Turkey has the highest priced fuel in the region and is dependent on Iranian oil! Turkey also has its sectarian problems that would erupt if Turkey intervene in Syria!
That was a really nice interview! Assange is just as capable as these yahoo's are as a journalist! I didn't get the spin of the interview on what I should think, to be considered a smart and informed citizen, by the indoctrination spin media!
