Are you saying you are monte? Or are you saying you think I am monte? I am not monte (which, if you are monte, you already knew)!

i want to speak to the rush to judgement comments I know of no other case where the gunman is not arrested in a murder case until it is adjudicated. this is not a rush to judgement it is a rush to get a possible killer of an unarmed teenager off the streets before he strikes again. he walks free and with his weapon hmmmm i wonder how we would all feel if it was our child who was shot to death.

dirtyt,
"I know of no other case where the gunman is not arrested in a murder case until it is adjudicated"
See also: fascist state
Definition: probable cause:
"Apparent facts discovered through logical inquiry that would lead a reasonably intelligent and prudent person to believe that an accused person has committed a crime, thereby warranting his or her prosecution,. Probable cause is a level of reasonable belief, based on facts that can be articulated, that is required to arrest and prosecute a person in criminal court. Before a person can be arrested and prosecuted, the police and prosecutor must possess enough facts that would lead a reasonable person to believe that the charge is true."

If he is arrested, there must be probable cause that a CRIME has been committed. There isn't. There is a real possibility he was acting in self defense. If he is arrested, he must be charged. What is he going to be charged with?
You can't arrest someone and let them sit in jail because you think, maybe there's sorta the possibility that there's been a crime. That violates the civil rights of the accused.
If you shot an intruder or if you were attacked on the street and killed someone in self defense (one scenario in this case) how would you like it if the police locked you up while they sorted out the facts and decided if you could be charged! Ya know, JUST IN CASE!?
Buy a clue.

johnandere is right -- in Florida (like in Alabama or Mississippi), a dead black kid is assumed to be the guilty party -- no investigation required. The Sanford police simply followed the Florida Stand Your Ground statute -- they asked Zimmerman if he killed the kid in self defense, and then released him.

Ya know Mike, it's a shame you're one of those "hit and run" liberals who throws a few flames in passing and runs away, but won't actually debate an issue, so I don't really expect an answer.
Two points; "no investigation required". That's a lie. The state's attorney general has taken over the case and assigned a special prosecutor. When asked about this both Trayvon's family and their lawyers are satisfied with how the investigation is progressing.
"The Sanford police simply followed the Florida Stand Your Ground statute"
Also a lie. There are two scenarios in this case. The first is that Zimmerman chased after Trayvon and shot him. Was that "stand your ground"? The other scenario has Martin ON TOP of Zimmerman beating his head into the pavment. Perhaps you consider THAT "stand your ground". The fact is, self defense and stand your ground have NOTHING to do with each other and the implication that the "stand your ground" law is at play here is a red herring of the left.
Mike, you need to expand your horizons from Daily Kos and MESSNBC and get some really truthful information for a change. Read actual news reports, don't just listen to Ed Schultz.

Oh, and one more point on the motivation behind the Sharptons, Jacksons, Rushs and Frederika Wilsons and that they are not concerned with crimes against blacks but political opportunism. Juan Williams, that bastian of the right ... agrees with me.
“Nobody says a word that over half of the murders in the United States are of black people and 90% of them are committed by other black people. What is thiscarnage in the black community, in Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, every day of the week? And nobody has a march for them… This is the civil rights challenge of this generation yet people want to replay what happened 50 years ago.“
As I said, the Delric Millers of the world are little more than cannon fodder to them.

More sermonizing by Rehm:

"You know what I don't understand, frankly, is that everybody knew it was not going to go anywhere in the Senate. Why waste what precious time there is to pass a bill like this?"--on the Paul Ryan budget

This after Rehm's passionate sermon against Rush Limbaugh (for some unexplained reason, Rehm has never gotten around to denouncing lefties Bill Maher, Ed Schultz, etc). And other sermons.

Rehm, stop pretending to be a impartial moderator and make yourself an honest person by truthfully advertising your program as an opinion show.
