What? If you mean Bill O'Reilly, he does it all the time. You should watch Fox News you would be surprised by the amount of liberal commentators they have. The thing is they do not hide behind a lie of no bias as does D.R. and NPR. By Diane's own admission NPR would be in serious trouble by not getting federal funding, NPR must maintain the lie in order to receive it. The feds cannot openly support a political bias, hence the lie. It's all done on the wink wink.

Rehm should definitely have her liberal listeners pass on proposed conservative guests before inviting them on her show. But please, Diane, continue to have on the usual political liberal mouthpieces because without them you would be doing a soliloquy

But of course, not David Corn! No mouthpiece he!

You actually help make my point. From your baseline of 1963 until Reagan, everybody, blue-collar and white-collar collar workers, managers and top executives alike shared in the extra wealth generated by automation. That was the norm that was broken by Reagan."

Your changing the script now. You said the down turn started in the 80's. Can't see how I made your point.

"What makes you think that the top 1% benefited. Reagan increased taxes on the rich from 36% to 38%."

That must have been such a sacrifice! In dollar terms it's peanuts compared with the extra they were taking home. Look at total income trends since World War II broken down by income percentiles and you'll see a definite change after 1980."

And middle class people in the 80's had a lot more material stuff that after WWII. Most people even during the 50's didn't have 2 cars, own their home etc.

So are the facts about ownership and materials that I stated above.

"Incidentally, your pal Reagan wouldn't be allowed in the door of today's Republican Party because he actually dared raise taxes"

How do you now that especially if Rick Santorium is still getting alot of support? He would put Obama in his place like he did Carter. And by the way, were you even around during Reagan's time.

I usually enjoy listening to the differing opinions of your guests. But I was quite put off by Jennifer and her self-righteous responses to some of the other comments. Were the other two goading her? Yes, they did not agree with her, but I did not get the impression they were trying to provoke her -- until she reared up at David.

I spend many hours each week listening to Diane's shows via internet streaming and podcast. The amount of "cross talk and interruption" on this episode was seriously distracting, and out of character. Diane, please address this with your guests. Thanks!

I listen to Diane`s show because the panelists present their views in a professional manner - at least until today. Jennifer Rubin should not be invited back - her views didn`t bother me per se but she threw in a comment about `the left` at one point that was just unnecessary and flippant; then she interrupts David Corn when it is his turn to talk with a comment. On top of that her voice and speaking style don`t lend themselves to podcasts - I just find her hard to listen to. Overall the tone of today`s show was pretty low by Diane`s usual standards - at one point I think Diane actually shushed a guest or two. I do not want to listen to people trying to interrupt and out talk each other. I am also tired of pundits on the left and right try to score points by making snippy comments and interrupt - bad enough our politicians do that, we don`t need pundits jumping on the same bandwagon. Get a better bunch next week!

An unfortunate show. Please, no more of the polemics from David Corn & Jennifer Rubin. A survey of the news would be appreciated, not more talking heads.

They called it 'Star Wars' because it was a fantasy then, and Christian Science is always out to wear out the weak and defenseless. It is called the 'Billy Sundae' offence, keep them exhausted, smelling sweet, and cool at home, with the cherry on top. All others, degrade and exhaust and disparage in your charming Virginia Gentlemen asides. Oh, Maccaca, Maccaca. Oh, Stay Holy with Holly, or what ever your beverage of Choice is. Your Choice comes first, and it is always fixed in favor of the 'brains of the South' and their ways. Carry-on with your selves. We will step around you while you party at the club and in the locker room. We don't need you, and you don't want to know of our existence, if you can't take your ten percent on top of ten, golden boy. Jest keep your locker room tactics and snarking away from our children.
