Please remind your guests that no one "takes" a job...people are GIVEN jobs so put the "blame" where it belongs. The argument against immigration among a nation of immigrants is just nuts.
Federal oil leases are property of the United State people since they are on Federal land. Clinton allowed oil from Federal lands to no longer have to be sold to the American people--allowing it to be exported.
Of course, this lowers the world price slightly BUT raises gas prices in the United States VERY, VERY significantly.
The property of the American people is being exported to provide lower prices to world. Free trade? No way! This is the property of the U.S. People.
Clinton shame!

Put the blame squarely where it belongs, Bush, Cheney policy of multiple deployments. (We should have reenacted the draft.) I say send Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld to Afghanistan in penance
Re enact the draft for our next war of pre emption.
Soldiers are not civilians and war is not civilized society. Why is this soldier alleged to have murdered Afghan civilians? He clearly massacred these innocent people. Would you also say prisoners at Gitmo are "alleged"? I am ashamed to be an American as the US continues to wage wars across the globe.
A draft will insure that all Americans pay attention to our invisible wars--and all of the costs of those wars.
Excuses that are given now are exactly the same as the ones were given to not intervene in Libya. Reasons were given about tribal division; rebels not united and linked to ALQADA, and how dangerous enforcing the no-fly zone will be. If the United States wants to have Security Council to pass resolution, it can. Even if it can’t, she can work with the Turks and other powers in the region to balance the scale at least. I feel the US does not have the desire because the perception is if Bashar leaves, how we can get one like him who kept the Syrian-Israel border peaceful for most of the time.
I'm an Afghanistan Campaign veteran. The one thing I am wondering is why the media doesn't cover how civilians over there kill one another? Some of the innocent civilians over there should also be tried for murdering women and children. Ontop of that the people at GITMO who have been held there are responsible for killing innocent people not only in Afghanistan but throughout the world. Why are they not being put on trial for murder?
As long as Saudi Arabia runs the system of education in Pakistan and creates tens of thousands of ignorant and violent talibans, Afghanistan and the world will not see any peace.
The United States of America has more than 60 years of political mistakes and failures. We did it.We caused it.It is a mess, and it keeps getting worse. All these Middle Eastern conflicts go back to McCarthyism. An anti Communist fear mongering movement that gave us the Korean and Vietnam Wars.Cuba.The Middle East.Central and South American. All these countries have issues with America`s supporting brutal dictators.
Now in this country, "Social Justice" is a target by the same right wing extremists who gave us McCarthyism. Our foreign policy sells Nation building and "Social Justice" to these backwards cultures ? How can they CREATE "Social Justice"in Afghanistan, when they are bent on destroying it in the U.S.A.?
