How can someone who has committed egregious Ethics Violations while in office be able to run for ANY office again?
He should not be eligible to run.

"Food Stamp President" in terms of hand-outs to African-Americans.

Racism/Food stamps - a factual statement. More people are on food stamps today, under President Obama, than any time in our history.
The majority of people on food stamps are white.
kathleen, perhaps you perceive that people on food stamps are black? Perhaps that is because you're a r......? Oops!
As for what the woman said to Newt Gingrich ... exactly how is he responsible for that?

Consultant: When a 'real businessman" runs (ruins) this country he can fire all the citizens not making him a profit. Deportation will be a euphemism under such a regime. Maybe Consultant himself would wind up in a cattlecar headed for forced labor and the last roundup. As naked children so freely deregulated walk the plank they'll be told,"You shoulda planned better."
"Right to work" and "fire at will" rapidly degenerate to "life and death."
It happens all the time in our "client states." (Goebbels T-shirts anyone?)
Remember how much Mitt likes to " fire" (burn) consultants?

January 23, 2012 - 12:01 pm

Newt played that card and then thanked the racist for their support. Arrogant racist woman (sure wish they would put a name and face on that woman) "thank you Mr. Speaker for putting Juan Williams in his place"

Gingrich...thank you for your support. Disgusting.

Then he plays the white working racist evangelicals. Hide your racism/sexism behind your religion the way I do.

Take down Romney who I can not stand on economic issues but who can argue they guy lives his religious beliefs when it comes to his own family

The classism issue is also alive and well in South Carolina. Little to no union activity for decades. Proud of the poor pay, no health care. Rich white Republicans play the working class whites. You will be one of us some day. Classic. All of this is in working order in South Carolina.

Folks should go work in South Carolina during the upcoming Presidential election. Go hear and see for yourselves. Go work in poorer African American neighborhoods, in poor white areas. The wealthy white neighborhoods. Keep your discussions ane eyes wide open. Lots of racism classism, sexism. Lots

Racism thrives and prospers on the left. Without division and depravity and all the tools used to prevent things from changing, the democrat party would have no reason to exist.

January 23, 2012 - 12:07 pm

I live in Applachia dude. Am fully aware that plenty of poor and working class whites receive food stamps. That is not the card Gingrich played in South Carolina. He played the stereotypical foodstamp card. And lets get real more and more hard working class whites, blacks, hispanics etc now need food stamps to make ends meet

Alexandra Bonifield: Those who can't tolerate unemployed Blacks eating on SNAP need to surrender their jobs to the minority unemployed so they may earn their daily bread. Wouldn't that be the Christian thing to do?

And what is the alternative of Obama trying to maintain SNAP for the surging eligibility? Starvation! That's the least thing we can ridicule the President over.
His failure to bring wealthy crooks to justice is his main failing and his support for the National Security State runs a close second.

If you're gonna criticize the first Black President don't show your inferiority of mind while you do so.

(Agreeing with Alexandra, not criticizing)

B.O,
You have it right. This is the "plantation mentality" of the left. You have to keep them poor and dependant ... you know ... "on the plantation". Once they learn about the land outside the plantation ... the one called "opportunity" you have lost them, and most importantly, their votes, forever.

Oh, I see now. It doesn't matter what he said, it's what kathleen says he MEANT to say. It doesn't matter what people say or do, it's what's in their hearts ... that kathleen can read ... that really matters!
Got it!

Test: Put Newt in a room with a hungry Black family and send to Youtube.
Hint: "Don't get between me and my SNAP card if you won't give me any opportunity."
Did I hear a fat pink pig squealin'?

On the issue of the 'food stamp president', more people are out of work and are still attempting to feed their children while paying their utilities and mortgages. If you pay rent you are the 'undeserving poor.' If you are paying your bills, mortgage first, you are the 'deserving poor' and these code talkers 'do not mean you when they talk of food stamp president' They mean the 'undeserving' like myself, handicapped, physically 'unpleasant to have in their sight', 'couldn't I just go and hide in a culvert somewhere.
Their charity only goes to being on camera being seen to be charitable to their 'favorite' charity. So we have more unemployed than ever, more food stamps. More horses more water. More students, more desks. More charities, more chances to wear their 'fancy dresses and high heels.' Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. Don't you have your own channel on TV now, ye who cast aspersions on the poor. You definitely make us poor in spirit after your beat down tactics, your debate club tactics, and your boat club chumminess. Is there any reason for anyone to have any hope. Is all hope false hope? I think so.

jonandre has embraced the Orwellism that it's cruel to be kind, and kind to be cruel. He lives in service to Oligarchy where the truth is a lie. How many bootcamps did it take before he got it?

January 23, 2012 - 12:25 pm

Longfeather: As long as you resist there is hope. It is they who have climbed the ladder and nailed the trap door shut who have lost hope. When they nailed that trap shut they caused a spontaneous combustion that could burn the barn.
The pyromaniacs of Oligarchy teach arson. Fire them!

Sorry, pancake. Fail.
To you and Longfeather both:
It's good to be kind. It's just not the Federal Government's job.
It's the responsiblity of citizens to be kind, but kindness, founded in morality have been drummed out of our schools and out of the public square. Hmmm ... I wonder who did that? So what did you expect the result to be?

Thank you Lilian M, for expressing the thoughts of many people in one of the most intelligent posts ever seen in these comments.

jonandre is "kind" when it serves his debate, but we have seen his nature exhibited in strident talking points. Now he is flipflpping like a Mitten.

Pancake Rankin wrote:

I think he embraces the truth that failed good intentions that have only impoverished and stole the dignity of millions is not an act of kindness.

What's hiding below that neck line anyway?

January 23, 2012 - 12:38 pm

Lillian M. submitted the 6th post on page 1, and it is inciteful about how media fails to serve a public who refuse to get informed and participate, about how this results in a synthetic partisanship. Thanks Brian Lupiani for the heads up.
Lillian M. should ask why so many are complacent or fatalistic. It's a power relationship bolstered by classism. I call it wealth etiquette.

I wanna thank those who value my remarks so much they are compelled to repost them repeatedly. It's amazing the self-defeatism they have acquired in wrongwing bootcamp. Just like Confederates they are haunted by defeat, always playing the melodramatic villains, wearing the black hats, seething for revenge and lost honor. Try "dungeons and dragons" where those magical thinkings work. Your magic words links make me laugh. It's straight from the horse's rump.

Strident talking points? Care to substantiate that with an example, Pancake?
Or do you just prefer to make general spurious charges to try to play to the emotions of other posters?

January 23, 2012 - 1:05 pm

Pancake Rankin, " seething for revenge and lost honor"

I remember you begging for certain posters to be banned. Your the worst petty name caller here and a complete hypocrite.

Brian: A schmuck? Nah, Mars is more of a putz who believes Stalin is out there alive in the ether like Satan, trying to acquire immortal souls by criticizing the capitalist nightmare. Garlic and crosses won't protect you, Mars, and neither will a pagan name. You need to move into the NOW and get your bearings.
Quit behaving like an answering machine for the Oligarchy. See how I think independently of any party or interest group. You can do it too someday if you try. (I'm only 37.) Wouldn't you be mortified if you couldn't say anything at all until Newt Gingrich said it first. That's where you're headed.
