Sexual Harassment and GOP Presidential Candidate Herman Cain
GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain faced an onslaught of questions yesterday related to sexual harassment claims made in the late 1990’s. The National Restaurant Association allegedly paid two female employees to settle harassment complaints against Mr. Cain who was, at the time, head of the trade group. He first denied the report and then said he’d been falsely accused: Join us to talk about what the allegations may mean for Herman Cain’s presidential prospects and current perspectives on the issue of sexual harassment.

Looks like that guy's laptop in the above picture is getting uncomfortably close to penetrating that woman's private space.

Complete gibberish.
"treatment by Republicans "
You see, this shows the shallowness of your thinking. Party means nothing. People do. That's the thing with true conservatives. If people break the law they should be punished - from Bill Clinton to Bernie Madoff. If you commit a crime, you are held to account. We don't care who it is or what color he is. So you are wrong about Justice Thomas and you are wrong about Herman Cain. The Thomas matter seems to have been settled. If evidence is produced that Cain was a harrasser, yes, I'll be done with him. But that's not going to happen. To quote Mr. Cain, "Here's why". In 40 years of work he has had two women make vague complaints about him. They were willing to go away quietly for a little bit of money. (What they would have received in severance anyway). If there was any basis to the charges would they have done that? Many women have successfully brought charges of harassment against superiors, but they all have one thing in common - the men were repeat offenders - you know, like Clinton going all the way back to when he was AG in AR. Multiple women have come forward to accuse him. When that starts happening to Cain, I'll reconsider. Until then, this is a hatchet job, a witch hunt, and a hi-tech lynching.

Could you ask Diane if she would ever consider having a conservative host her show during her absences?
Most women I know would heavily consider reporting any harassment for fear of losing their jobs. Many would let the crude jokes or innuendos slide and hope that it didn't escalate. If these women did report harassment and if an EEOC inquiry found some basis of guilt then I believe the harassment did occur. Now Mr. Cain may feel what he did did not constitute sexual harassment but it is not how what he said or did meant to him but how it was percieved by the women in question. Every business has required training and there is certainly no excuse for a second incident.
Here's all I want to know ...
Where were these women when Cain was running 5th or 6th? Hmmm?
This remains a hatchet job, a witch hunt, and a hi-tech lynching.

The story was waiting to be about someone who mattered. When he was 5th or 6th -- who would care? To another point, when he was a CEO, who really cared? Now he wants to be President of the USA and to head the Executive Branch that serves 150,000,000 American women and girls. I suppose that they care if the Republican #1 is an accused abuser -- where they wouldn't if he was the Republican #6.

The feminists groups rallied in support of William Jefferson when he was accused of multiple counts of sexual harassment and ...rape. I'm sure Cain can count on similar support from them as well....Oh, wait. Clinton advocated zero restrictions on abortion. Never mind.
Word on the street is that the accusations are being ginned up by the Perry campaign. They deny of course. If that proves true, Perry is toast - although he was already being slid into the toaster. This would just get him golden brown faster.
Why do our tax dollars fund NPR? Diane's show and all the shows on it support liberal viewpoints and never conservative ones. Would Diane have a conservative host her show when she takes a day off? I mean a real conservative not a moderate democrat. My taxes fund a propaganda device for the Democrats. Shouldn't NPR be more like CSPAN?
What is bizarre about this case against Cain is that the facts are being drowned out by the Media Mobs lynching of the Candidate. The first two cases on non-sexual harassment, were just that and found to be baseless. The last two cases magically appear after 15 years and can't be corroborated. What happened to Media Ethics? Both the latest accusers have a history of making legal cases for monetary gain, they don't want this to go to court because they would lose. It's much easier to pile on and let the media Lynch Cain for them. No man in politics or in a senior position is safe if we let women jump out of the weeds after 15 years and start making wild accusations in the media. The latest accuser was even taken to court for being overheard threatening a male employee with false sexual harassment claims. He got a promotion that she wanted, and was going to get even. Where is the media in reporting this fact?
I doubt the Perry Campaign would be so foolish. There is really big money and resources behind this Cain attack. My money is on Soros, MOVEON, or are are the Journo List Conspirators back in business?
The last two accusers are the first mistake they Cain accusers have made, both these ladies have a checkered history of making false claims and losing in court.
