A caller comments on Rep. Peter King's (R-NY) past support for the IRA. King's past comments revealing his support for the IRA have come under fire in light of his running of this week's House committee hearings on the radicalization of Muslim-Americans as the current head of the House Homeland Security Committee. According to the Associated Press, in 1985 King said, "If civilians are killed in an attack on a military installation, it is certainly regrettable, but I will not morally blame the IRA for it:"

The Wisconsin battle is just one more step in the drive by the Rich & powerfull to destroy our democracy!!!!. I hope this wakes up the people of this country to stop the destruction of our democracy. I hope Governor Walker and the republican Senators are recalled. Now is the time to stop the Republicans in there tracks and expose them for who they are!!!!

@Drew Kelly

"There have been many instances of the DR show, when important issues are discussed when there is no one on her panel that has moderate much less Progressive views."

First off, there is Rehm herself, who can always be counted on to provide the liberal pov. The Friday news Round UP is always a 3 to 1 ratio of liberals to one conservative, if Rehm actually allows a conservative media person on the show.

Every time the question of government defunding NPR/PBS comes up, liberals on cue rant about how NPR is not liberal enough! If NPR cannot be counted on to provide this supposed platform for liberals to get their message out, why would liberals care about the prospect of NPR losing 3% of their funding?

But I'll wait while you manage to come up with one instance where any conservative had free reign over any NPR show, much less NPR "drifting into the far right."

As far as FOX News, here is a list of liberals that appear regularly.

Geraldo, who has his own show on FOX News
Dr. Lamont Hill
Al Sharpton
Judy Miller
Kristen Powers
Susan Estrich
Just about all the Democratic Party Senators and Congressman come on FOX News. If they were actually treated with disrespect, why would they continue to appear?

Hell, even POTUS Obama was just interviewed by Bill O'Reilly.

I was being "easy". Questions aren't always rhetorical, or a set-up, sometimes they are simply a request for information.

I was simply curious as to what "hainc" means.
