Rarely if ever have I heard such an intense level of vocal tension, hemming and hawing, stammering among a news commentary panel. Is there something going on in that studio we should know about? I don't blame Ms. Kay because I've heard her run some very smooth panels previously. Guests seem amicable and agreeable on the issues (maybe too compliant) so it isn't that. Are covert handlers present?
The cool thing is how generically Mr. Dinnerjacket's (Iran President) 9/11 accusations were glossed over. One thing he said was true, that suspicion about US intelligence complicity in the attacks remains extremely high around the world, in contrast to the lack of inquiry within the USA. Add to that the care that must be taken on Israeli-Paletinian Peace, keeping the prescribed line and not getting accused of anti- Semitism. Tension! The larger question is what these panelists know that we don't that they can't talk about. Keeping secrets is difficult for investigators and writers. Next time take Atavan before the Round-up, you frazzled intermediaries. (I'm not Mr. Dinnerjacket.)
The land that is at the heart of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict changed hands as the result of wars waged against Israel by countries whose stated motive was the destruction of the Jewish state. The Arab world opposed the establishment of Israel in 1948 and never recognized Israel's borders established by the UN. It is still a negotiation over the return of land captured by Israel in war. Hamas has yet to declare that the war is over or that they are committed to peace, thus making these negotiations unimaginably difficult.
Bring our Troops home.. We've been there long enouf.
If they can'not get their government together by July, then they never will.
We need to get out of that Crazy section of the world..
I think the Heat cooks their brains, so they loose all self respect..
As a loyal Democrat, I agree with VP Biden when he tells Democrats to "buck up". Frankly, some on the left are behaving like spoiled children.
The problems that Pres. Obama faces will take time and patience to solve. He has made great strides in dealing with both health care and the economy - especially given the obstructionist behavior of the Republican party. Anyone who is feeling disappointed or angry has an extremely unrealistic idea of what can be done in a short time.
The greatest concern I have is that the Dems have allowed Republicans to frame the political debate. Democrats should be out there touting this administration and it's accomplishments.
Buck up indeed! It's time for the Dems to utilize the courage of their convictions. Lead!

"Mr. Dinnerjacket" "frazzled intermediaries"
Nice use of humor to emphasize your point. Thanks.
