Trying to get through on the phone lines, but they're busy. Not surprised. I'm sure everyone, like myself, is dying to be able to talk to Smokey Robinson.
Smokey, I have loved you for so long! I don't know what it is about your voice & your music that just plucks on my heart strings. You deserve every honor you recieve! Good luck to you & God bless you in everything you do!
Smokey Robinson! One of the legends in Soul. Thank you so, so much for all the beautiful music you brought into our lives.
I am wondering whether there is a story behind my all-time favorite of your songs: "The Agony and The Ecstasy."
Two words:
Smokey Robinson.
My my, it doesn't really get any better than that.
Thank you for your music, and thank you for Motown's 1959-1971 catalog of songs that will live forever from generation to generation. THANK YOU SMOKE!
Dianne and Smokey,
Wanted to thank Smokey for hiring one of our graduates from Towson University Department of Dance in Marylandmany years ago named Tracy.
I spoke with her in last fall and she said she was still touring wih you (since the 1980's).
Tracy is a very beautiful young lady and a superb student and dancer.
Will she be performing with you this evening at the Kennedy Center?
Including my very best regards,
Dennis Price
I'm loving hearing Smokey's voice here in my kitchen making oven fried chicken for a beach trip. Just dancing and remembering!! Thanks for this show.

Please share how your family life is these days. I'll never forget when you told a story in the past-probably to Terry Gross-about your daughter answering a call to you buy Dianna Ross. Your daughter hadn't been aware of your notariaty then and was shocked that Ms Ross would be calling YOU! This gave me great respect for your humbleness.
Smokey: I remember a skit on Saturday Night Live where Mr. Robinson (Eddie Murphy) stole Smokey Robinson's drum kit. "I wonder how Smokey gonna sound with no drums," said he. I immediately imagined some of your livelier tracks without percussion. Smokey, you could have performed without drums and continued to please. Later I dreamt that you came over there and got those drums back, knocked Eddie on his rumpus.
