I'm disappointed in Diane Rehm. She seemed to make a moral equivalence between the Pakistan ISI and their backing of militant groups like LeT in carrying out attacks on Indian targets such as the Indian embassy in Kabul and hotel guesthouses where Indian doctors and engineers stay, with India's efforts in Afghanistan to build schools, roads and hospitals. One would think that a person of the calibre of Diane Rehm would take a more nuanced approach. Instead all she could tell Imtiaz Gul was, "no one is free of responsibility". This is not just a galling statement but also ignorant of the facts.
