For the past several years, best-selling novelist Wally Lamb has taught writing to a group of women who are prisoners at the York Correctional Institution in Connecticut. Lamb talks with Diane about a new collection of some of these stories, and about the transforming power of the written word. Joining them are two of the contributors to the book, Tabatha Rowley, author of the essay, "Hair Chronicles", and Robin Cullen, author of the essay, "Christmas in Prison".
