Europe has been the center of Christianity’s power and culture for 2,000 years, but the demographics and geography of this world religion are changing rapidly, according to Pennsylvania State University professor Philip Jenkins. His book The Next Christendom (Oxford) focuses on Christianity in Asia, Africa and South America.
