In 1999, with Detroit’s 88-year-old baseball stadium slated for destruction, journalist Tom Stanton determined to attend every one of the 81 remaining home games in the old park. He’ll talk about his longtime love of baseball and of his hometown stadium, and of the bittersweet achievement of meeting his goal.
